[jira] [Commented] (TOMEE-888) @Context not available in cdi beans

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMEE-888?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13625384#comment-13625384 ]

John D. Ament commented on TOMEE-888:
-------------------------------------

IMHO, this should be backed out. No other app server supports this. Injection of HTTP elements should be done through producer methods or portable extensions that create the necessary producer methods. @Context is not a valid CDI injection point.
