Adding role functionality is completed.  Still have issues with tree component for refreshing the tree.  The tree object model reloads properly but the wrong elements is picked up for display.  The problem only occurs upon 1st refresh.  Further refreshes correctly display the tree model.  Working with myfaces list to address the issue.
