Yes, port changes were done in OFBiz specific file framework/base/config/ofbiz-containers.xml in stable to take care of that (also framework/base/config/rmi-containers.xml but RMI should not be used)
I think I will update the check-svn-update.sh file myself and see if I can resolve the issue we get from time to time since you introduced it.

Hi Gavin,
I have updated the check-svn-update.sh file. You will see that I have put 3 ./stopofbiz.sh because (I'm not sure why) I discovered some times ago that with them I was quite sure OFBiz will really stop. The 1st time the script return OK but OFBiz continues to run, the 2d time the script return IN-PROGRESS but I found somtimes that OFBiz continued to run, the 3rd always stop OFBiz..
As I clean and update the Derby DB, which is obviously longuer but may be necessary sometimes, could you please run the cron only every 24 hours?

Not sure why, but it seems that the cron did not run for few days. The last update says (Release-revision : trunk-945153 - see in footer) which is 17 May. Maybe it's another problem though, for instance the ant target which updates the footer may have field, but then why? I don't know...
I checked, currently both instances are running under ofbiz user. I prefer to let you check the cron side, if ever it's related, sorry to bother...

I forgot to say that when I update manually, most of the time I do also an ant clean-all and then an ant run-install. I also run ant svninfo which update the Release.revision numbers in the footer. Anyway, as I said, I will have a look :)

Resolution: Fixed
new script created into /home/ofbiz/check-svn-update.sh
the ofbiz crontab looks like this:
30 */6 * * * /home/ofbiz/check-svn-update.sh >/dev/null 2>&1
So checks for updates every 6 hours on the 30 minute minute mark.
If it finds any updates for trunk or branch9, it will do an svn up then stop and restart the respective demo.
