[users@httpd] Ok, I'm kind of new to this. I keep getting this error...
Now your all thinking "Uh oh a newbie". Well I've done everything I'm
supposed to do when installing Apache and running it. The server will
run but nothing comes up when I go to see it on localhost. Is it because
I'm on XP home edition? This is the error I found in the error log that
I keep getting....
(730038)An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket. :
winnt_accept: AcceptEx failed. Attempting to recover.

The error message is telling you to do exactly the same thing that the FAQ
is telling you to do:
Open up httpd.conf, scroll down to the end, type in
Win32DisableAcceptEx
And then restart apache.
The problem is you are using some kind of software firewall/vpn/other
software that is messing with the tcp stack in windows. So you need an
apache workaround: Win32DsableAcceptEx.

software. Try using the Win32DisableAcceptEx directive.
I'm really lost on what to do here...
