I just noticed that we have examples in Kotlin and it just works! 

[~the-dagger] Do you expect any additional work on this? Are you going to add it into Beam Quickstarts documentation for more visibility? 

[~kenn] I think we should add a new Jira component {{examples-kotlin}} for this. Wdyt?
