[jira] [Commented] (AIRAVATA-656) Create a standalone jsdl library
and add it to gfac-schema-utils

Suresh Marru commented on AIRAVATA-656:
---------------------------------------
Hi Shahbaz,
I removed dependencies to jsdl-xmlbeans-2.1.0.jar and wsag4j-jsdl-types and directly added the OGF schemas of jsdl, jsdl-posix, jsdl-hpcpa and jsdl-spmd to airavata xmlbeans generation. This will ease us from adding a third party repo and associated license requirements. We still need to verify the legal rules of adding OGF schemas to the source repo, and I asked Apache Legal for verification - https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-166.
I understand from a practical stand point you mention Precommands, Postcommands, ResourceRequests will require custom extensions to JSDL. May be at a later point, we will revisit this. But for now, do we need any of these extensions? Can we get away with requiring attributes from - https://unicore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/unicore/jsdl-xmlbeans/trunk/src/main/schema/jsdl-unicore.xsd and work straight of JSDL? This will help Airavata as it can create a generic BES/JSDL client.
Thanks,
Suresh
