If either of those checks failed the session was left in a transaction
with a failure so couldn't be used for future tests.
And the second check (conn_type_null) _always_ failed on 1.10.15,
because even thought the table existed, the `description` column which
the model expects hasn't yet been added (because we are running this pre
migration!) so the fix there is to just select `conn_id` column.

The PR most likely needs to run full matrix of tests because it modifies parts of the core of Airflow. However, committers might decide to merge it quickly and take the risk. If they don't merge it quickly - please rebase it to the latest main at your convenience, or amend the last commit of the PR, and push it with --force-with-lease.
