[jira] [Updated] (SPARK-22741) Add global aggregate for typed
aggregation
Ruben Janssen updated SPARK-22741:
----------------------------------
Description:
A global aggregate for typed aggregation is currently missing. When an aggregation on a dataset is currently called, it is a relational aggregation which actually calls groupBy().agg, so the returned type is Row instead of Scala objects.
This is blocking other features such as SPARK-20890, because we want to be able to return Option for min/max functions.
