[jira] [Closed] (DELTASPIKE-260) Weld serialization issue
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DELTASPIKE-260?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Cody Lerum closed DELTASPIKE-260.
---------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
We are actually just going to skip using the variable in the builds as they already have forkMode=always set which prevents the issue from occurring. Others can use the system prop if they need to build @ lower than Weld 1.1.10

> Most Weld versions have an issue with serialisation.
> This is reproducable by running:
> > mvn clean install -PWeld -Dtest=MessageContextTest,ConfigurableLocaleMessageTest
> in the core-impl module.
> If the ConfigurableLocaleMessageTest runs first, then the MessageContextTest throws up in testSerialisation().
> Whether this happens is depending on the JVM, the OS and a good amount of luck :/
