Apache processes takes 100% CPU until killed manually
Summary: Apache processes takes 100% CPU until killed manually
Product: Apache httpd-1.3
Version: 1.3.27
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: Other
Component: core
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: LeRoutier@wanadoo.fr
hi,
quite every day, apache eats all my CPU time until i restart it.
not caused by an extern web attack (have an IDS reporting everything)
not even by a CGI/php script.
here is what i have in main error_log :
[Sun Jan 19 18:04:32 2003] [crit] (43)Identifier removed: shGetLockedEntry(8281b
54, "SERVER") failed in watchCleanUpHash()
[Sun Jan 19 18:04:32 2003] [crit] (43)Identifier removed: shGetLockedEntry(8281b
54, "www.lancedragon.net") failed in watchCleanUpHash()
www.lancedragon.net is a virtualhost on my machine. not even the default one.
nothing particular with this virtualhost's own error log
if you want further details, i'll send you ASAP
