[jira] (MRM-739) Archiva does not expose certain artifacts for download

Benjamin Cartereau commented on MRM-739:
----------------------------------------

Is the "tar" file type present in the list of scanned artifacts?
If you go under "Administration" - "Repository Scanning" you have the list of scanned files types to be added or even removed...
So if not done, you should try to add "**/*.tar" in the list.

> I have a module that publishes an artifact of type tar, but when I browse to it in Archiva, the tar file is not available for download
> For a given artifact:
> <groupId>rhinestone</groupId>
> <artifactId>rhinestone-package</artifactId>
> <packaging>tar</packaging>
> <version>1.0</version>
> In the directory there does exist a file of compatible layout, rhinestone-package-1.0.tar
