NodeStore should expose an Instance ID

Hello team,

after discussions with Marcel, Michael and Stefan, in
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-3529 we're considering
enhancing the NodeStore in a way that could expose an instance id.

In the issue there's a patch for a proposal. Please follow-up in the
issue itself with your thoughts, even if it's a +1.
