error handling callback?

Is there anything built into wss4j to allow custom error handling from
the handlers? For example, if authentication fails I want to log that
to a database. I don't see anything in the source code but I wanted to
ask if there were any plans for this before implementing it myself
(which I'll happily submit back to the project).
