Summary: I/O exception - Connection refused while using Proxy
                    through Firewall
           Product: HttpClient
           Version: 3.0 RC3
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Commons HttpClient
        AssignedTo: httpclient-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: bpasero@rssowl.org

A user that is behind a "MS Webmartial firewall" is getting a "407 Proxy
Authentication Required" when trying to access content.

Looking at the logs, I can not tell what's going on. But I can see an
IOException happening.

Find the HttpClient Log and a TCP Log, generated with Westbrooksoftware's TCPSpy
2.13, of the firewall attached.

A comment from the user:
"From the first one of them it seems that proxy is NetCache appliance one. At
http://www.netapp.com/products/software/software_spec s.html it reports as
authentication methods: "Supports user and group authentication through an
internal database, LDAP, NTLM, Kerberos, and RADIUS platforms."
