mod_vhost_alias and errordocument
Hi,
I've done some poking around and haven't seen a (reasonable)
solution to this anywhere. By reasonably I mean not having to
learn mod_rewrite to get it done (some of us have better things
to be doing with our time...)
The problem is this:
I have a setup using mod_vhost_alias for mass virtual hosting.
Currently, errors 404 and 403 are handled by ErrorDocument
directives which bring up a standard error page. I want to let
each client have their own error page.
I.e. the current setup:
/www/host1/non_existent_page.html -> /www/html/errors/404.html
/www/host2/forbidden_page.html -> /www/html/errors/403.html
/www/host3/bad_script.pl -> /www/html/errors/500.html
What I want to achieve:
/www/host1/non_existent_page.html -> /www/host1/errors/404.html
/www/host2/forbidden_page.html -> /www/host2/errors/403.html
/www/host3/bad_script.pl -> /www/host3/errors/500.html
Anybody know how I can do this?

i only have on vhost block, which handles currently 20 or so
vhosts but in the future could handle hundreds, so this isn't
practical. i had a poke on the net and couldn't find any descent
documentation or any examples of how to do something like this
using mod_rewrite - can you give me an example/point me to any
good resources?
