Naming: CoreContainer and "core" term

Hi,

CoreContainer is new, so maybe I'm just not yet intimately familiar with it, but I wonder if newcomers to Solr will be confused by the name "CoreContainer" which sounds rather "singular", when in fact it seems to hold references to all SolrCores. Maybe native English speakers will automatically think "Ah, it's a container and a container is used for containing multiple things", but at least my non-native English brain is still in a process of accepting that "CoreContainer" holds multiple cores, not just one. Would simply "Cores" be better?

Also, and it may be too late for this one, the name "core" might be a bad choice, at least now that we have multi-core CPUs. The other day I was talking to somebody about Solr, about hardware choices. I then mentioned Solr MultiCore and confused the person.
