[jira] [Closed] (TINKERPOP-1031) Map URL routes to static method execution in REST API

stephen mallette closed TINKERPOP-1031.
---------------------------------------
    Resolution: Won't Fix

I don't think this is a good idea anymore. We don't really have a REST API to speak of and this might not be a good thing for TinkerPop to have to maintain. As I doubt that this ever saw any discussion at all on the dev list, I'm just going to close this as something that wont' be done.

> So a request like this:
> would call a static method in bound to the Script Engine as {{Ping.ping("pong")}}. Sandboxing could provide security - or perhaps some other method. This one needs more thought - just an idea.
