[jira] Created: (SM-2037) Cant use servicemix start just after
installation
Cant use servicemix start just after installation
-------------------------------------------------
Key: SM-2037
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SM-2037
Project: ServiceMix
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.3.2
Environment: HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64
Reporter: Nickolay Martinov
When you unpack servicemix there is no data directory yet. So when you invoke
servicemix start
then you get following error
./servicemix[40]: /var/opt/openmediation-X60/containers/instance-1/data/servicemix.pid: Cannot create the specified file.
and start of servicemix continues. Later you invoke
servicemix stop
and get additional error
Apache ServiceMix PID file not found.
and servicemix isnt stopped.

[jira] Commented: (SM-2037) Cant use servicemix start just after

Jean-Baptiste Onofré commented on SM-2037:
------------------------------------------
The problem only occurs using start|stop argument.
Anyway, I'm agree that it's not very elegant. I'm gonna create the data directory if it doesn't exist at startup.
