script / template extensions for 5.0

Not sure if this fits into the overall plan for 5.0, but there have been a
few times in tacos where it would've been nice if the template/script parser
handlers were something that could be extended. A hivemind contribution
perhaps ?

If it doesn't make sense for what's getting done in 5.0 already that's fine,
I just wanted to mention it before I forgot. I've seen this implemented
successfully in template parsers before, but only in scenerios where the
engine source itself was modifiable by anyone. This situation would probably
require that the parser contributions + any sort of logic needed to get your
own enhancements/etc were easily contributed in.

It would be nice if the extensions weren't so tied to HM that you
can't use the TemplateParser without HM. Spindle uses the
TemplateParser already and Spindle does not use HM.

I'd rather not put HM into the mix either. The more loosely couple I
can stay the better.
