kylin upgrade

Hi, guys
   
      I want to upgrade kylin 2.4.1. My kylin version is 2.1.0. 
      
     1. Can I rollback kylin 2.1.0 when upgrading failed  and kylin have produced new data in new version?  
    
     2. What are the potential risks of upgrading?

Hi chen,

There might be some metadata migrations between 2.1 and 2.4. Please take a
metadata backup before doing the upgrade; If the upgrade fails, you can
rollback with the backup.

The cube data is immutable, so is safe. And don't forget to update HBase
coprocessor.
