log files stays at zero bytes

Hi there,

I'm trying to log to a file using FileAppender. But when I start my
application the log files gets created, but nothing is written to it. When I
use the ConsoleAppender with the same Category to log to my screen, it
works. I seem to be the owner of the file with rights -rw-rw-r--. The
directory I try to log to is owned by root with right drwxrwxrwx. I'm on
Solaris.

What am I doing wrong ?

Regards,
Marcel
