Sparse matrices not supported anymore?

Hi,

Does Apache Commons support sparse matrices? I understand that the
interface SparseRealMatrix is deprecated...

Will there be a replacement or has the project decided to stop supporting
sparse matrices altogether?

Thanks,
Daniel
