Fwd: [RESULT] Move Jakarta to the Attic; close down Jakarta PMC
Noting that Jakarta has voted to move itself to the Attic. I've added
the resolution to the board's 21st December meeting to close the PMC
down and will start working on winding down the website.
Jakarta's a little interesting as a site. First there are existing
retired subprojects - see
http://jakarta.apache.org/site/retired-projects.html - many are
already on the Attic, a few are not. I will probably 'promote' the
nots to be listed directly in the Attic.
I'll also update the website a bit. Some of the pages are no longer needed.

Also note that the active Taglibs may still refer to the Jakarta site.

Yes; though some are still useful, but should possibly be
migrated/copied to the main ASF site eventually.
