Public API for new AVM in Flashplayer 12 (was: Re: Anybody on this list that signed the NDA for the new Flashplayer 12?)

Thanks Justin,

Actually, we don't necessarily need to know who signed the NDA. We'd like
to know more about the API of this mysterious new AVM in the Flashplayer 12
to react appropriately with Flex 5. Hopefully, information will be published
sooner than later.

Thibault Imbert from Adobe has already revealed the most important change between V11 and V12... there is no DisplayObject.

Thanks Nick & Erik,

@Erik ... maybe my english is not so good ;) I wasn't asking someone to violate her / his NDA. I was asking them to make the Adobe Flashplayer team aware of this missing API that could be worth for us having a look into. Would you agree on this?

@Nick ... I am looking forward to this announcement.

Adobe will make some announcements at the start of December regarding their
plans about gaming. Perhaps some info will be shared then.

Actively asking someone to (anonymously) violate their NDA, on a public
forum no less, seems somewhat desperate. A desperation which is uncalled
for, as there is no way that we'll have the framework completely rewritten
by the time the new AVM will be public.

Let's try to be constructive and productive without having to resort to
illegal actions. If you think Flex 5 should target the new AVM, why not
copy the SDK into your whiteboard and start working? I'm sure there is
lot's of work to be done before the lack of API documentation becomes the
limiting factor.
