"cannot execute binary file" error
The following is a copy of my console input when trying
to install "httpd-2.0.43-powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz".
Please note that before executing"./apachectl start",
" /usr/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf", had been created
several minutes before.

My goal is to test MYSQL-PHP using Apache as my server.
Should I switch to Red Hat 8.0, where there seems to be more "help" traffic.
The above error does not appear in any message lists I've scanned, but then
I only look at the last 200 messages if my list search fails to get hits.
There are very few list messages for SuSE.
Q1. As a novice What can I do to get Apache started on SuSE 8.0?
Q2. Should I switch to Red Hat Pro 8.0, and will thier install of the
programs "Mysql, PHP, and Apache", work?
Thanks for your patience.
