Seoul Tajo Meetup
Hi folks,
I would like to have a meetup in order to introduce Tajo and socialize with
some committers and others who are interested in Tajo. Unfortunately, this
meetup will be held in Kang Nam, Seoul, South Korea. I'm sorry for that.
http://www.meetup.com/Seoul-Apache-Tajo-Meetup-Group/events/111457522/
In this meeup, I will briefly give an overview of Tajo and its roadmap
described in Tajo Wiki, and we will socialize over beers. If we have some
discussion, I'll share the discussion in mailing list.
If you are interested, please attend this meetup.
Thanks,
Hyunsik

Hi folks,
I would like to report the yesterday meetup. Jihoon, Sangwook, Jinho,
Jaehwa, people who are interested in Tajo, and I had the meeting yesterday.
I gave an overview of Tajo and briefly mentioned the roadmap in Tajo wiki.
Many people were experts in BigData and databases areas. There were many
questions about Tajo architecture, distributed query evaluation and the
difference from existing systems. I was happy to answer their great and
critical questions. It was a fascinating meeting for me. In addition, some
people expressed that they want to be contributors. However, there was no
discussion leading any decision because most people were new to Tajo.
Thanks,
Hyunsik

Hey Hyunsik,
Great to hear you guys are meeting up!
You may want to inform dev@community.apache.org about the meet up.
I think they like to keep track that projects are having them, mainly
b/c not everyone is in the same time zone, and/or to ensure that
decisions are actually made on this list, and not in the meeting, etc.
I'm confident that'll happen since you are doing a great job Hyunsik,
