Re: Updated Filters Proposal
Posted by Glenn Nielsen <gl...@voyager.apg.more.net>.
I had hoped to already have the servlet-filters directory setup already.
But a work related project has ended up consuming a great deal of my time
the last week.
I will try to get servlet-fitlers setup in the next 3-4 days.
I'll setup the servlet-filters build so that it has sub filter
areas, and filters can be bundled in a sub filter area. That
gives us the most flexibility for organizing the filters.
Regards,
Glenn

I think this was already mentioned, but most of these filters are going to
be a single class. I'd suggest in addition to sub-filter projects, also
have a 'generic' package where all the single-class filters go. There would
also be some standard support classes (like wrappers) that would go in there
as well.
When should I start committing? :)

RE: Updated Filters Proposal
Posted by Michael Smith <mi...@iammichael.org>.
Shouldn't the mailing list be filters-dev rather than jakarta-filters?
The original commons mailing list was jakarta-commons, but it was
changed to commons-dev to conform to the standard apache naming rules
for mailing lists:
http://www.mail-archive.com/jakarta-commons@jakarta.apache.org/msg04289.
