Yes, bleedin' edge, thats me :) - really, the intention was to go straight 
to
v3 if that was possible to save any converting that had to be done
afterwards. Trouble is, not knowing enough about v2 provided the
first hurdle. I think the problems I had with my initial v3 attempt are also
happening in v2 so its either user error or a bug in both. You have 
clarified
some of this in another post.
