The new new release candidate container (DAFFODIL-2227) was used to do an actual release for 2.5.0-rc1. While the release process worked, the final release steps of pushing changes could be automated and various parts of the process can be claned up (e.g. wix script installation, popd suppression, cleanup of old release candidates if there's an rc2).
