[jira] [Commented] (FLINK-3085) Move State Backend Initialization
from "registerInputOutput()" to "invoke()"

Aljoscha Krettek commented on FLINK-3085:
-----------------------------------------
I also have some work in progress here: https://github.com/aljoscha/flink/commits/state-enhance. I'm changing it so that every operator has its own instance of the StateBackend, because the StateBackend is now also responsible for keeping track of the key-value states. Instead of them being scattered across RuntimeContext and AbstractStreamOperator.

> The state backend initialization currently happens in the {{StreamTask}} in {{registerInputOutput()}}. For better error handling, it should be part of {{invoke()}}, where the task is properly interrupted, threads are properly joined, and exceptions are treated aware of cancelling.
