[jira] [Created] (INFRA-7948) Kafka snapshots have disappeared

Jakob Homan created INFRA-7948:
----------------------------------

             Summary: Kafka snapshots have disappeared
                 Key: INFRA-7948
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7948
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Nexus
            Reporter: Jakob Homan

I published Kafka snapshots yesterday (https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/kafka/) but the jars seem to have disappeared overnight. The directory and metadata file remained. I've re-published them to unblock the Samza release but am not sure why they went away in the first place. Is there some type of cleaning process, or were they published incorrectly and thus removed (and, if so, where do I see the logs for that)?
