Create Entity only for hdfs_path

hi there,

i've got a completely fresh installation of atlas 2.0.0 which seems to be
working fine.
however when i try to create a new entity via the user interface i'm only
getting hdfs_path in the dropdown... adding other entity types manually in
that dialog, do not enable the create button..

any idea?

Jurgen,

Good to know that it worked.

 "*note that it would be good to have that in the default
atlas-application.properties (maybe commented, but still)" *

will add property and keep it commented.

Can you please a file Apache Jira with all the details you mentioned in
mail and also attached atlas-application
properties /relevant artifacts.

Such Atlas-docker documentation will be helpful to community as a whole.

Regards,
Nixon Rodrigues

Re: Create Entity only for hdfs_path

thanks a lot, that did the trick..

(actually i've done this previously with v1.0.0 also, but totally forgot
about that)

note that it would be good to have that in the default
atlas-application.properties (maybe commented, but still)

also with respect to atlas-application.properties: i'm running atlas in a
distributed environment on a DC/OS cluster in docker containers..

this section here:

#In order to use Cassandra as a backend, comment out the hbase specific
properties above, and uncomment the
#the following properties

atlas.graph.storage.clustername=...
atlas.graph.storage.port=...

only works with a hostname in my environment..

atlas.graph.storage.hostname=cassandra.marathon.mesos

the comment above the cassandra settings suggest that
atlas.graph.storage.hostname= is only used for hbase

also note: that i'm actually using the following settings (which work
nicely, but i think they are not documented)

atlas.graph.storage.backend=cql
atlas.graph.storage.port=9042

Hi,

Please add this property in atlas-application.properties file and restart
to load all types.
