Ari Rabkin commented on CHUKWA-191:
-----------------------------------
Much better. Though at Berkeley, we were using a shared mysql, not installed specifically for Chukwa. It worked fine. So that part of the docs is maybe still misleading.
Why did we want to tell people to install a mysql just for chukwa?

This is actually a release blocker; documentation talks about a file that does not exist.

Corinne Chandel commented on CHUKWA-191:
----------------------------------------
If you remove the "Configure my.cnf File" section, please update the "Set Up my.cnf" section.
Change this:
Copy the my.cnf file (see below) to the Chlukwa_HOME/op/mysql-* directory.
To this (or something similar):
Configure the my.cnf file (see CHUKWA_HOME/opt). Copy the my.cnf file to the Chlukwa_HOME/op/mysql-* directory.
