RE: [ANN] Compile Tomcat Web apps into native Windows/Linux executables (beta)
Just a quick notice of Excelsior JET 7.0 beta 3 availability:
http://www.excelsior-usa.com/jetdlbeta.html
In particular, it enables you to hide the conf/ directory if you don't want anyone to inspect or modify your Tomcat config files.
The final release is scheduled for December.
Best regards,

Version 7.0 will enable you to compile Apache Tomcat together with your Web applications into a native code executable and distribute it without the original class/WAR files and without dependency on the JDK.
