[jira] [Created] (ARROW-6510) [Python][Filesystem] Expose nanosecond resolution mtime

Krisztian Szucs created ARROW-6510:
--------------------------------------

Summary: [Python][Filesystem] Expose nanosecond resolution mtime
                 Key: ARROW-6510
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-6510
             Project: Apache Arrow
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Python
            Reporter: Krisztian Szucs

FileStats.mtime returns a microsecond resolution datetime object. At some point we should also expose a mtime_ns attribute that gives the exact nanoseconds as an integer, like os.stat does: https://docs.python.org/3/library/pathlib.html#pathlib.PurePath.as_posix
