merging big data and blockchain

Hi,

BigchainDB combines (1) big data (and its consensus algorithm such as Raft, Tendermint) with (2) blockchain consensus.
The idea is a very big database (and its performance, consistency, …) with blockchain (consensus), so blockchain starts to scale its tps too….
BigchainDB is using MongoDB, but claim it should work on Accumulo.

The immediate issue is replication (see picture below)
