SUN JDK 1.4 \lib\endorsed

Hi again,

Am I right thinking that putting Xalan files in <java-home>\lib\endorsed (to
update the Sun JDK1.4[1]) means there's no point having the .jars anywhere
else?

I.e. my CLASSPATH entries to "C:\Program Files\Java\xalan-j_2_5_0\bin\"
aren't used, and neither are those .jars that exist in
<java-home>\lib\endorsed.

Just trying to understand the whys and wherefores...
