How slow is slow ? , took my FF2 6 seconds to load the CXF and 4 seconds to load this issue via https.
Have you checked with anyone else that this is happening, otherwise I'd suggest it is local to your connection.

    Resolution: Won't Fix

well, but it is pretty fast for us to access other websites with "https" protocol. It is a little faster now after I opened the jira issue, but today it was very slow for the last couple weeks. I will close jira for now and reopen it if this problem persists.
