   This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage.
   
   Findings: this tracks JIRA HUDI-9503 (Split batch calls for getting partition information), a sub-task of the Hudi Trino Connector epic HUDI-2687. Both the issue body and the JIRA description are empty, the JIRA is Open/Unresolved with no fixVersion or assignee, and no PRs reference HUDI-9503, so it is not possible to determine the intended scope or whether any of this work has been done.
   
   Keeping open pending clarification of scope from the connector maintainers.
