[jira] [Created] (SLING-2692) Referer header should be set to
about:blank when posting to the web console
Carsten Ziegeler created SLING-2692:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Referer header should be set to about:blank when posting to the web console
Key: SLING-2692
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-2692
Project: Sling
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Maven Plugins and Archetypes
Affects Versions: Maven Sling Plugin 2.1.0
Reporter: Carsten Ziegeler
Assignee: Carsten Ziegeler
Fix For: Maven Sling Plugin 2.1.2
If the server is protected by a referer check which doesn't allow an empty referer header (e.g. using Sling's referer filter), the maven plugin can't post to that server anymore
Therefore we should set the header to about:blank

Carsten Ziegeler resolved SLING-2692.
-------------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
We should rather fix the referrer check to only check the header if the request is from a browser
> Referer header should be set to about:blank when posting to the web console
