Summary: Kerberos : Referencing an identity across service's kerberos files is not honored and hangs at 'configure identities'.
Key: AMBARI-15838
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-15838
Project: Ambari

Priority: Critical
Fix For: 2.4.0
- Kerberos : Referencing an identity across service's kerberos files is not honored and hangs at 'configure identities'.
- Scenario : I am creating reference in YARN/kerberos.json for existing "/HIVE/HIVE_SERVER/hive_server_hive".
YARN/kerberos.json
{code}
"components": [
{
"name": "NODEMANAGER",
....
.....
{
"name": "/HIVE/HIVE_SERVER/hive_server_hive",
"principal": {
"configuration": "hive-interactive-site/hive.llap.daemon.service.principal"
},
"keytab": {
"configuration": "hive-interactive-site/hive.llap.daemon.keytab.file"
}
},
{code}
and it hangs at configure identities while kerberizing.
Trace :
{code}
