My understand is doing url encoding is not much work. Therefore better do it ourselves. Url encoding discuss well in rfc 1738

I suppose white spaces need to be URL encoded.
Better to go throuhg the list here: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_urlencode.asp
We do not have any URL encoding support at the moment. The best is to support this throuhg an established library like libcurl
