[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-2718) Deactivate Background Operations
Running popup eachtime
Sudhir Rao created AMBARI-2718:
----------------------------------
Summary: Deactivate Background Operations Running popup eachtime
Key: AMBARI-2718
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-2718
Project: Ambari
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 1.2.4
Reporter: Sudhir Rao
Every time i start/stop services, i get a confirmation popup for yes/no. When user chooses yes, there is another popup which shows the status of the service, cancelling this each time is very annoying and can be avodided. Please let a flag or star glow next to the cluster name instead of a popup.
While we are here, I think we can get a little smarter and only get confirmation for yes/no only when you are trying to stop a service. Starting a service i am not sure why it should be confirmed at all, can this be configured in the admin page ?
