Darryl L. Pierce updated QPID-5832:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Expose Qpid types in dynamic languages. (was: Perl client is unable to use correct qpid types)
> Expose Qpid types in dynamic languages.
> ---------------------------------------
>
> Key: QPID-5832
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-5832
> Project: Qpid
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Perl Client
> Reporter: Darryl L. Pierce
> Assignee: Darryl L. Pierce
>
> Perl client does not contain binding to a qpid::types, and unlike other clients, does not provide a 1:1 data type mapping. Type mapping cannot be native like in other languages, but additional mapping to Qpid::type::variant could solve the problem artificialy.
