[jira] [Commented] (IGNITE-2380) .NET: Ignite configuration in
app.config and web.config
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-2380?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15130811#comment-15130811 ]
Pavel Tupitsyn commented on IGNITE-2380:
----------------------------------------
1) Since we have a way to serialize config, it may be useful for users, in case they want to store it somewhere.
The most important case here is when user has C# configuration and wants to move it to app.config: he can just call ToXml and copy-paste it.
2) This is just a convenience method.
There is already a way to instantiate config from app.config/web.config:
{code}
((IgniteConfigurationSection)ConfigurationManager.GetSection("someName")).IgniteConfiguration.
{code}
In most cases there will be only one such section, so this is a useful shortcut.
Nothing prevents the user to use Spring.NET and CastleWindsor. This task is about standard .NET config mechanism and not about other frameworks.
