I have not kept up to date on the progress of the local BH repository
issue of late so I am not expecting to get that immediately. I'll see if
I can find out what is going on.

Meanwhile, I appear to have updated https://issues.apache.org/bloodhound
successfully. As I suggested before, this was more or less done as a
fresh install, migrating database, users and attachments over. The
changes associated with migrating the attachments may make it difficult
to roll back without losing data but I do not anticipate having to do
this at the moment.

Cheers,
     Gary

cool !

will we have local copy of BH repository tomorrow too or later ?
I'll take a look at that part of the UI as it seems there's a lot to
do in that direction. If somebody has suggestions regarding the design
of this section they will be welcome . Please list them in #162 or in
a wiki page or maybe sketch it using a wireframe or HTML mockup .
Whatever ...

Hi,

I have been doing a bit of work associated with this ticket in
preparation for the switch-over. Hopefully it will go smoothly but I
thought it would be good to give a bit of advanced warning. This also
gives people the opportunity to stop me if there are any concerns.

I am going to try to work with something very close to the installation
procedure we specify. This is organised a bit differently from the
current installation and so I have started more of less from scratch but
effectively making use of the same database and authentication mechanisms.

As it is getting late in the day, I will complete the process tomorrow.

Cheers,
     Gary

Comment:

I am not sure if this needs to wait on 0.1.0 approval. We might decide
that this can be done more or less immediately. Making this a blocker to
encourage it being done at the earliest opportunity.

Comment (by jdreimann):

I would suggest that now that the initial release has officially happened,
converting this trac instance to Bloodhound should be of highest
 importance.
