Something went wrong with release candidate
Ran our normal release process, and saw normal messages about uploading
artifacts to the repository.apache.org staging repo. Here's one such msg:
[INFO] Uploading:
https://repository.apache.org/service/local/staging/deploy/maven2/org/apache/uima/uimaj-json/2.7.0/uimaj-json-2.7.0-sources.jar.asc

This was done yesterday evening around 6 pm US Eastern Standard time.
Today I went to "close" the staging repository, and there's no entry for me to
close.
I had always seen a UIMA entry after doing our release process, but now there is
none at https://repository.apache.org
Any ideas?

I upgraded the system this morning and after the upgrade reviewed the
staging repos to make sure everything was ok. There was an empty uima
repository in there which was still open. I inadvertently dropped it
while cleaning up some old ones that had been stuck since Oct. This
might be related, but that doesn't explain why the repo was open this
morning and still empty if you did the release yesterday.

I rolled back and redid the release, and this time it showed up in
repository.apache.org.
I have no idea why it didn't work yesterday.

Maybe try again?
I had a similar problem before I did an RC for the last ruta release. I
don't think that I changes anything, but it worked when I tried it again...
