SGI's Accelerating Apache

I wish your group would reconsider accepting SGI's Acclerating Apache
patches:

I understand many of the reasons behind your non acceptance of thse
patches but encourage you to work out something with SGI.

By using AAP I have gotten a 3-fold speed increase on my machines
without going futher with tweaks. SGI's 64-bit implementation is also a
great piece of work and actually compiles without errors and warnings.
