[users@httpd] [apache 2.0.64] Config Installation questions

Hi We need to reconfigure apache 2.0.64 and when using config command as
below.
./configure --prefix=/apache --enable-modules=so --enable-ssl
--enable-rule=SHARED_CORE 
configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-rule

Anyone can advice why this is happening. If enable-rule is not supported
what is the alternative which can be used
