[ANNOUNCEMENT] Commons Lang 2.4 released
[Bcc'ing announcements@jakarta]
The Apache Commons team is pleased to announce the release of
version 2.4 of Commons Lang.
Lang provides a host of helper utilities for the java.lang API, notably
String manipulation methods, basic numerical methods, object
reflection, creation and serialization, System properties and a
series of utilities dedicated to help with building methods, such as
hashCode, toString and equals.
There are a few new classes, and a lot of new methods in Lang 2.4.
Of course there are also a bunch of bugfixes too. We've written a
short article to cover all of these:

Source and binary distributions are available for download from the
Apache Commons download site:
http://commons.apache.org/lang/download_lang.cgi
When downloading, please verify signatures using the KEYS file
available at the above location when downloading the release.

Edited in place as my generated site looked a little
different from yours for some reason (probably
would've been alike from a browser view, but rather
than take chances...).

Of course, I meant trunk only wrt correcting in svn,
and since I can't see any harm in changing things in
trunk, I went ahead and did it. I _think_ I'm clear
to update the example on the site as well, but I'd
still like a second opinion on this one.
